Improve Your Yose

How many games do you lose by less than 10 points? Quite a few? How would you like to win all those games? Quite a lot?

Well, you could do – by improving your endgame play. Amateurs blunder away a staggering number of points in the endgame. It is no exaggeration to say that a strong dan player can pick up 20 or 30 points in the yose.

Here are four problems, all quite straightforward. All you have to do is find the best move for Black.
