Answer to problem 4



If Black plays two moves and captures the three white stones, White will play in the middle and kill him.

Let's see what happens if White tries the same thing as in problem 3.


White sacrifices 4 stones, and Black captures them.

Then it looks like this. Remember this 4-space eye shape? It's alive, because if White plays A Black can play B, and vice versa.
