BGA Promotional Material

The BGA has a number of promotional booklets, leaflets and other items about Go. This page briefly describes and illustrates them.

These items are normally made available free to volunteers doing outreach work on behalf of the BGA, which includes Go club secretaries.

They can also be made available to other people and for other uses at the BGA’s discretion. In this case we may request a payment to cover our costs. If in doubt, ask the secretary or president. Remember that the aim of the BGA is “to promote interest in and the playing of the game of Go”. We will be likely to look favourably on requests that help achieve that.

You may also wish to look at our gallery of Go publicity material made by others.

To obtain any of the items contact the BGA Secretary who will put you in contact with the correct stock holders.

You can browse the information at your leisure and install the software without having to access the Internet. In addition, the disc contains a complete copy of the BGA web site.

The CD-ROM is typically updated every 6 months. The CD editor welcomes suggestions of material to include in future editions, either of your own work or items produced by others. The copyright holder’s permission is required before anything can be included on the disc.

The CD-ROM may be freely copied and distributed without charge provided that the copyright notice is also included. If you wish to copy or use the items on the CD-ROM in any other way you should contact the appropriate copyright holder for their permission.
