The British Pair Go Championship is open to male and female pairs who play together at the same board without conferring. Top 8 graded British pairs [1] play for the championship; any pairs can play in the handicap group. The venue is a pleasant country hotel. A buffet lunch is provided as part of the entry fee.
The top eight graded British plairs play in a three-round Swiss-style group (even games) to determine the British Pair Go Champions. Other players will play in a handicapped group to determine the Handicap Champions.
Both groups play 45 minutes sudden death.
There will be prizes for all, with special mentions for three wins, fighting spirit, best dressed pair, and the Pair Go quiz.
