Archive: Championships’ Rule Changes 2008

The rules [1] have been revised by the BGA council for 2008, following the adoption of AGA Rules for all BGA events. They will apply to the 2008 and all subsequent championships (until amended), and supersede all previous versions.

The statement regarding the rules changes is as follows:

• Section A5.2 - now defines use of AGA Rules instead of Japanese Rules.
• Section A5.3 - Komi amended from 6 to 7.5 in line with AGA Rules.
• Section H4 - Correct name of International Amateur Pair Go Championships used
