School Membership

The BGA accepts membership applications directly from schools, youth clubs and other groups supporting Go as an activity for children. This is known as School Membership:

School Membership

This costs £24.00 per year. It includes a Full Membership of the BGA [1] and in addition

• your pupils can enter British Youth Go Championship (subject to eligibility)
• you and your pupils can enter BGA tournaments and other events at the member rates
• you can purchase books and equipment [2] for your School/Group use at a discount
• you will receive an invitation to join the annual UK Go Challenge [3]

Note: If your pupils wish to receive their own British Go Journals, purchase books or equipment for their own use or enter any other British Championship event, apart from the Youth Championship, they need to take out individual membership at the normal Student or Under-18 rate.
