GIFGUIDE.TXT for mixed size tiny GIFs
============
This file describes the multitudinous mini GIFs used to display a go
board.
Each stone or point is formed from either one or two GIFs. Most are
formed from one gif. Only stones with two digit numbers in are formed
from two half-point gifs - the left and the right half.
All GIFs have a three letter file name followed by the ".gif" extension.
GIFs are 20 or 10 pixels wide by 20 pixels high.

One special gif is included: ___ (three underscores). This is a
transparent gif of the same size as a half GIF. It permits the
production of non-rectangular boards and also permits vertical alignment
of two diagrams of different heights in a table.
Do not include any spaces or newlines between GIFs or between a GIF and
an HTML markup. A file "BD19X19.TXT", a raw empty 19*19 board in HTML,
is included here.
If you want to break a line, do it at the space within the IMG markup
(between IMG and SRC).
======
To permit reference to be made to various markings, extra gifs have been
made for insertion in descriptive text. These are a different size and
have a transparent background.
