Promoting Go in the UK and beyond

The BGA accepts membership applications directly from schools, youth clubs and other groups supporting Go as an activity for children. This is known as School Membership:

School Membership

This costs £18.00 per year and

• you will receive a year’s subscription to the British Go Journal
• you will receive the bi-monthly BGA Newsletter, containing news and tournament announcements
• your pupils can enter British Youth Go Championship (subject to eligibility)
• your and your pupils can enter BGA tournaments and other events at the member rates/li>
• you can purchase books and equipment from the BGA for your School/Group use
• you will receive an invitation to join the annual UK Go Challenge

Note: If your pupils wish to receive their own Go Journals or BGA Newsletters, purchase books or equipment for their own use or enter any other British Championship event, apart from the Youth one, they need to take out individual membership at the normal Student or Under-18 rate.
