Promoting Go in the UK and beyond

The BGA accepts membership applications directly from schools, youth clubs and other groups supporting Go as an activity for children. This is known as School Membership:

School Membership

This costs £18.00 per year and

• you will receive a year’s subscription to the British Go Journal
• you will receive the bi-monthly BGA Newsletter, containing news and tournament announcements
• your pupils can enter British Youth Go Championship (subject to eligibility)
• your and your pupils can enter BGA tournaments and other events at the member’s rates
• you can purchase equipment from the BGA
• you will receive an invitation to join the annual UK Go Challenge

If your pupils wish to receive their own Go Journals and BGA Newsletters they can take out individual membership at the normal concessionary rate.

To obtain your school membership, please print a copy of the school membership form (18kB PDF) (alternative web page (HTML) version), fill it in, and send it, with a cheque payable to British Go Association, to
