Candidates' Tournament

For qualifiers only (all British players who are members of the BGA with rating above 1899 from a tournament in 2008). You will be sent a letter of invitation. 6 round Swiss tournament. 90 minutes time limit with 20 moves in 5 minutes overtime. Registration 09:15 - 10:00. Each day, rounds at 10:00 and 14:15. Cambridge Junior Go Tournament

Durham Teaching Day

Sunday 15th November. Post Graduate Common Room, College of St Hild and St Bede, Durham, DH1 1SZ. BGA Teaching Day aimed at players in the range 1 kyu to 15 kyu, though both stronger and weaker players should benefit too. The structured teaching will incorporate reviewing participants' games, so bring something along for review! It runs from 10:00 to 16:00, and will cost £6 for concessions and BGA members, £8 for anyone else, including tea/coffee.
