In the second game of the 2025-2026 B-League season the team had to play a strong team from Netherlands. Two games started an hour earlier than the other two and the first win went to the UK when Michael unexpectedly won a lost game. Unfortunately the other three games went the way of Netherlands and so the match was a three-one loss. This placed the team eighth, just above the relegation zone containing Switzerland and Finland. Croatia beat Switzerland and Ireland beat Belgium to both lead the table. The next match is on 9th December with UK against South Africa.

Michael Cheung wrote about his game against Gilles van Eeeden. In the game, I tried to be aggresive in the beginning, but when my opponent cut at 46, I responded with a couple of dubious moves, so the game turned difficut for me. Gilles continue to find great move at 72, which made me think the game was already over. I didn't realise the game was not too bad as he made mistake at move 78, where a knight's move is obviously better than hane. As a result of pessimism, I tried to play 89, 91 and 93 to challenge Gilles. Just when I thought my strong moves secured me some territories, he played a brilliant move at 104 to punish my careless calculation. After that, I thought the game was over for me again. Until he played 154, a move which I can't explain. Probably Gilles was a bit tired in byo yomi, and thanks for that I got a lucky and unexpected win.

Bruno Poltronieri wrote: I'm afraid I lost by resignation against Peter Brouwer. From pretty early on the game turned into a moyo game for my opponent, and I had a weak group I didn't know how to handle. My opponent played very solidly and I felt behind most of the game. I tried to make something happen but it backfired and my second weak group died.

Jake Game wrote: Tonight I played Michiel Eijkhout; we had a great game but I lost in the end (by 12.5). It seemed that both players played quite well.

Edmund Smith lost by resignation against René Aaij. He tried to live inside a large moyo but failed to do so.
